Belly Dance on the Edge
Elinore Edge is a seasoned bellydance performing artist and instructor based in Portland, Oregon.
She is highly certified in the Salimpour School, a regular performer in Bal Anat, the longest running full length belly dance show in the world, and is the head house dancer at Portland's Marrakesh Restaurant.
She teaches weekly belly dance classes at the Vitalidad Movement Arts Center, as well as workshops throughout the world.
Elinore Edge has been belly dancing professionally since 2001 and has been a house dancer at Marrakesh Restaurant in Portland, Oregon since 2015. You can also catch her regularly performing at Portland night clubs and community events, weddings, birthdays, and festivals.
She teaches weekly classes at Vitalidad Movement Arts Center, as well as regular workshops. She is available for private lessons as well.
Elinore specializes in many props including veil, candelabra balancing (Shamadan), cane, sword, goblet balancing, tray, fan veils, silk flags, and is a highly skilled finger cymbal player.
She has been bringing smiles to the faces of wedding and party guests for many years, along with special memories to corporate events, festivals, and stage shows including the longest running belly dance show on earth, Bal Anat.
She is also a visual artist and designer, and illustrated the award-winning Cosmic Dancer Oracle (p. 2020.)
